The Fall colors are coming. Leaves are changing from dark green to gold, red and earthy browns. This is my favorite time of the year. I’d like to introduce you to the Autumn Giant to celebrate the changing colors and Monster Tuesday.
The Autumn Giant only appears when the colors of the leaves begin to change and then disappears when the last leaf falls. The giant has unique skills and weapons:
The Autumn Giant can call on the fallen leaves to hide him. The leaves will swirl into the air, creating a fog that is difficult to see. The Autumn Giant receives initiative on attacks.
The Autumn Giant wears a jacket of magical qualities. If you can acquire the Autumn Jacket, you will receive a +1 bonus to AC while in woodland areas.
The Autumn Giant wields the Autumn Sword. If the Autumn Giant lands a hit with the sword, the target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC=10+Con). If the target fails, they suffer an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. The Autumn Sword can be stolen from the giant.
Below is the artwork and a stat block for the Autumn Giant.
The Werewolves of London
The current live Kick Starter campaign is The Werewolves of London.
The Werewolves of London brings Gothic Horror to your next Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Intended for players Levels 1-5. I grew up watching and loving the Hammer House of Horror movies. One of my favorites is The Curse of the Werewolf, starring Oliver Reed - yes, THAT Oliver Reed, the Hollywood icon - I guess we all get our start somewhere ;)
This D&D-compatible campaign is a tribute to that fantastic movie.
